Your local club needs your help

Rugby team

NatWest RugbyForce is a Wales wide community volunteer programme that supports local rugby clubs in building for their future.

In partnership with the WRU, NatWest RugbyForce helps clubs at the grassroots of the game to improve their facilities and provides guidance and tools to make their club a more sustainable business.

Each club that registers for NatWest RugbyForce will receive a support package that includes:

  • Guidance and tools to help them coordinate their NatWest RugbyForce Weekend – an opportunity for clubs to coordinate a community-wide effort to give their facilities a ‘make-over’
  • Access to a club education programme that provides practical tips to help them become more sustainable and build upon the work conducted during their NatWest RugbyForce Weekend

One lucky club will receive £5,000 of support to fund a major improvement project and support their weekend as well as a visit from NatWest RugbyForce Ambassador Ieuan Evans and a member of the current Welsh squad to lend a hand. Register before 23rd March 2012 for the chance to secure this support pack.

The first 25 clubs to register for NatWest RugbyForce will also each receive £250, 50 NatWest RugbyForce t-shirts, an event banner and commemorative plaque to support their weekend.

Last year more than 40 WRU affiliated clubs registered for RugbyForce and conducted work ranging from giving their clubhouse a fresh coat of paint to building new toilet facilities.

Why not join them and host a NatWest RugbyForce Weekend on the weekend of June 2 & 3 2012.

Keighley RFC

Previous makeovers keighley

Keighley RFC used the grant to renovate their ground, car parking provision and enable better access for ambulances to get pitch side with the help of Jason Leonard and Leeds Carnegie duo Neil Back and Hendre Fourie.
